Broadband Speed Test
Measure your download, upload, ping and jitter with a live speedometer.
The test runs directly from your browser to Cloudflare's speed servers (speed.cloudflare.com) — nothing goes through ToolKit. Location is approximate and based on your IP address. A full test can use several hundred MB of data on a fast line, so take care on mobile data.
How accurate is this test?
This test measures from your browser to Cloudflare's public network rather than a dedicated speed-test server, so treat the results as a good indication rather than an exact figure. It is most accurate on connections up to roughly 500 Mbps. On very fast lines (gigabit and above) it can read noticeably lower than dedicated testers such as Ookla or broadbandspeedchecker.co.uk, which use local 10 Gbps test servers and raw sockets that a browser can't match. For exact line speeds — e.g. when checking you're getting what you pay for — use a dedicated tester as well.
